The City of Fogdown
Fogdown Opera House
The opera house is a magnificent place for experiencing all sorts of entertainment. Besides the standard operas, the venue hosts a variety of stage shows, from concerts, to plays and everything in between. Prices for the shows range from 10 gp for the best boxes to 1 sp for a spot in the nosebleed sections. Seating in the opera is often seen as a mark of status. Merchant Lords, prominent sea captains, high ranking member of the Grey Knights and nobles alike attend the opera to take the opportunity to seek audience with allies or merely to demonstrate their opulence.
A consortium of aristocrats built the Fogdown Opera House nearly 100 years ago in an effort to bring some semblance of culture to the cesspool known as Fogdown. To commemorate the occasion, the Keepers of the Mist at the time commissioned a brand-new opera from one of the greatest composers of that time, an elf by the name of Fiarella Donadrien. This ancient songstress poured so much of her heart and soul into the composition, it’s said, that she actually expired shortly after its first performance. She’s rumored to still haunt the Opera House on nights of her master piece is played.
